As part of a consideration on traffic, and to reinforce the security of the installations, properties and people, SAS - Lille Airport proposed a project of reorganization of the airport’s traffic and parking plan and organized to this end, two meetings of users consultation and a “Security, traffic, parking” commission to take the observations of the interested people into account. After the study of the observations and proposals of the participants, SAS - Lille Airport informs the users of Lille Airport of the implementation of the following main measures:

• Except in case of evacuation of the passenger terminal, pedestrians are forbidden from walking on the drop-off area of the terminal, on the rise as well as slope;
• Parking P1 to P5 and access to the express drop-off area are strictly and exclusively restricted to a strictly private use;

• The access to the regulated drop-off area is exclusively restricted to taxis that are duly entitled to work in the expropriation of the airdrome of Lille, vehicles of the State services,  public transport, coaches,  transport vehicles of flight crew members, the Airport service vehicles, the delivery vehicles that have been  previously authorized, the transport vehicles of important people (in politics, VIP…), and to the emergency vehicles;

• Following the temporary unavailability of the Shuttle car park, its users are invited to go to the P2 car park. The P2 access conditions defined in the Parking Regulations will be applied to them ;

 

New parking rules for Lille Airport, including these main measures, is published and practical. This new organization comes into force from 13th April 2011. The relevant State services, and when appropriate, the authorized officials of SAS - Lille Airport, are in charge of the control.  Any person infringing these rules shall be liable to penalties.
