OVERVIEW

Lille Airport Project 2020

The company Lille Airport SAS, formed by Eiffage and Marseille ProvenceAirport, of which Eiffage is the majority shareholder, has been a concessionaire of Lille-Lesquin Airport since 1 January 2020, a concession awarded by SMALIM (Syndicat Mixte des Aérodromes de Lille-Lesquin et de Merville/Mixed Syndicate of the Aerodromes of Lille-Lesquin and Merville).

Lille Airport SAS is responsible for all the investment, maintenance and operational work of the airport for a period of 20 years (2020-2039). Its role includes ensuring the development, safety, security and maintenance of the platform's equipment in line with Air Navigation standards while working to develop the network of airlines meeting identified needs specific to the requirements of our region (Business, Leisure and Tourism, personal travel).

Lille Airport SAS will develop an ambitious project over the 2020-2039 period, including renovation and extension of the existing terminal to improve customer reception conditions and support the development of the platform.

Quality of service is also at the heart of this project, thanks to an extensive digital tool deployment programme aimed at improving the customer experience.

Environmental issues will be widely taken into account, notably through an ambitious plan to develop the terminal's public transit service and reduce the platform’s carbon footprint, which will be validated by the Airport Carbon Accreditation label.

By developing the national and international accessibility of Lille metropolis and its region, Eiffage and Marseille Provence Airport are committed to ensuring that Lille-Lesquin Airport fully plays its role in driving the development of the region in connection with local economic and tourism stakeholders, and supports the economic, cultural and tourist influence of Lille and its region.
