A/ Limitation of liquids
From November 6, 2006, whatever your destination, liquid products are authorized in your hand luggage placed in the cabin, under certain conditions.
Relevant liquids and pasty substances:
Liquids, gels, creams, aerosols and pastes must be carried in containers with a maximum individual capacity of 100 ml.
This applies to:
all types of drinks, including water,
perfumes, toothpaste and other substances of a pasty nature, hair gel
cosmetic creams
shampoo
shaving foam
cleansers, lotions, liquid soap, sun cream, etc.
deodorants and all aerosol products
Before passing through a security check, you must place these containers in one transparent bag, such as a freezer bag, with a maximum capacity of one litre (19 x 20 cm); only one bag is allowed per passenger.
Adhering to these measures, and in particular presenting the products listed, is the responsibility of each passenger. You should show this bag to security personnel.
Other articles authorized in the cabin, whatever their capacity:
Foods needed by babies or infants for the trip (whatever their capacity) are authorized
Medicines prescribed by a doctor (liquids, gels, creams, aerosols and pastes, whatever their capacity) and specific foods accompanied by a medical prescription in the passenger's name are authorized
Baby foods and medicines may be transported outside the plastic bag
Articles you have purchased at a Duty Free store in the airport at the gates beyond the inspection stations are authorized in the cabin, whatever their capacity.
B/ Gate access procedure
The following should be presented separately from cabin luggage at the filtering inspection station:
All products and articles listed below: otherwise, all liquids and similar products detected in cabin luggage will be confiscated,
Take your laptop out of its case,
Coats and jackets.
A FEW TIPS
Check a maximum amount of luggage in the hold and keep only what is absolutely indispensible for your trip in your hand luggage. Containers containing liquids are authorized in checked luggage, whatever their capacity.
To facilitate security inspections, we recommend that you make your best effort:
to adhere to the check-in deadlines your travel agency or airline communicated to you by being there early for check-in
to place all liquids, creams, gels, pastes and aerosols in the luggage to be checked on the plane when you prepare your suitcases.
