<h1> </h1> <h1>« Lille Business »</h1> Lille is a town of commercial tradition. It is one of the most important European towns, well known in the fields of marketing, services, bank and insurance. In Lille are located a lot of headquarters, such as : Auchan, Leroy-Merlin, Decathlon, Norauto, Lesaffre, Roquette Group, Holder, Bonduelle, Renault, PSA, Toyota, but also Redoute, the 3 Suisses, Quelle, Promod, Kiabi, Jules, Deviane… Its large offer and its capacities of reception enable Lille to be a place very often selected for the organization of congresses. Lille also welcomes a lot of exhibitions, fairs… thanks to Lille Grand Palais: a large international congress place. Lille is very well located in the north of Europe. It takes only 50 minutes to be in Paris by the TGV, 1h20 to be in the centre of London and only 30 minutes to be in the centre of Bruxelles.   <h1> « Lille Festive »</h1> People in the North are well-known for their love of parties! Thus Lille organizes each first weekend of September, the greatest annual stock sale of Europe where second-hand dealers are mixed with musical animations, and giant terraces are put outside in order to taste traditional “mussels-chips”. After the success of Lille 2004, European Capital of the Culture, you can discover Lille 3000, a cultural event which will be held every two years, open on modernity, cultures of the world, a meeting between public, inhabitants and visitors. Lille is also known for its night life: theme bars of the Vieux-Lille, night-clubs in the rue Masséna, and the cabaret-spectacles, its Zenith where the artists and bands of music play, the offer is very large and the madness always with go…   <h1> « Lille Patrimoine »</h1> Lille prosperity and fame is due to the trade of textile. From its origin in the 8th century, it was successively Bourguignone, then attached to the Spanish Netherlands before becoming definitively French in 1667. Many buildings still testify today of the richness of Lille: The Palais Rihour, old residence of the Duke of Burgundy, the Hospice Comtesse, which became a museum, the Vieille Bourse , jewel of the Flemish architecture of the 8th century, the Door of Ghent, the Door of Roubaix or the Door of Paris, by which Louis XIV entered Lille, triumphing… The Citadel, the Grand Place, the Opera, the Museum of the Art schools - the first museum of French Province - are not to be missed by the visitors, without mentioning the Belfry of the Town hall which offers at the top of its 106 meters a marvellous panorama on the city and its surroundings. But there is also the Museum of Charles de Gaulle in his native house in the middle of the old town, rue Princesse. Also, on Sunday morning, visitone of the two fabulous market places: Wazemmes or Place du Concert. The business center of Euralille allows Lille to join again with its commercial tradition and projects the city directly in the 21st century…   <h1> Lille Shopping </h1> The town of Lille has been attracting many visitors for a long time, thanks to its diversified commercial offer. From now on you can hear English, Dutch, even Italian speaking in the streets of Lille… Each district even seems to have a speciality: The luxury street Rue Grande Chaussée, the large signs street rue de Béthune, the creators in the Vieux-Lille or furniture and the deco rue Esquermoise… there is something to suit everyone’s tastes!
